The requirements of the current protocol for entry into Canada are:

• 30-day Isolation in an approved facility
• Testing for TB
• Testing for Brucellosis
• Health Certificate
• Microchip

The TB testing is done during the actual 30-day isolation period. The blood draw for the Brucellosis test is done after the 30 days. We typically schedule it for Day 31.

There is an excellent veterinary hospital only five minutes from our ranch. We have worked with these veterinarians for many years. One graduated from Ohio State University and studied under David Anderson, DVM. He is the one who typically does all our testing. There are two people on the staff trained to complete all the paperwork necessary for the Quarantine process. Timing is everything!
