While we recommend that all importers into Canada check with their own CFIA veterinarian, we can make a few recommendations based upon our experience. The most important issue faced by most is the location of the Quarantine done in Canada. That location will require an inspection prior to the issuance of the permit. The permit will explain everything required at the Canadian Quarantine location. The permit number and location must be on the Health Certificate signed by the USDA office. The second issue is finding a hauler who will meet the necessary schedule. If you plan to do both, then you and we will work out the details. Communication is critical!
